A French rapper and songwriter, known by his stage name Soprano, who’s style is a rap innovation of the modern times mixed with hip hop and lyrics that doesn’t focuses on the vulgarity, violence and negative message that many rappers send in the actuality to the world. Some of their influences are Michael Jackson, Kanye West, and Eminem.
Soprano’s birth name is Saïd M’Roumbaba, and was born on January, 1979, in Marseille. He began with its musical career with the group ‘Psy 4 de la Rime’, until 2007 after he decided to go solo, and released his first album “Puisqu’il faut vivre”, wich includes 17 tracks. His following album saw the public light in 2011, “La Colombe et le Corbeau”, a combination of “La Colombe” and “Le Corbeau”, released in 2010 and 2011, being a reissue.
Soprano didn’t stop there and continued in 2014 with the release of “Cosmopolitanie”, including the singles “Ils nous connaissent pas”, “Cosmo” and “Fresh Prince”. Again in 2016 (with a reissue for 2017), he surprised the world with “L’Everest”, an album that included 13 tracks. His latest album, “Phœnix” contains the singles “À la vie à l’amour”, “Zoum” and “Fragile”, alongside other 13 titles (“Le coach” is one of those).
In 2019, Soprano came back with two new singles, “À nos héros du quotidian” and “Papa Sopra”, and in the early 2020’s the single “Musica”, featuring Ninho, was released. The 3 of them part of the reissue of “Phœnix”.
